I slot into existing agency teams to provide expertise and leadership on challenging projects. I've worked with respected digital agencies such as Barrel and The Hand Media on projects including maintenance retainers, full site builds, and growth marketing.

  • Manage schedules, budgets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables are clearly communicated and promptly executed.
  • Identify and remove potential and existing roadblocks that may hamper the team.
  • Resolve personnel resource conflicts by coordinating with other project managers.

Startup Brands

I help fast-growing, digitally native brands advance their digital goals. I believe it's important for even small brands to invest in project management early because this helps to build process that ensures success as the company grows. I have experience with brands such as Wex Health and mobile app development companies such as Filmstrip building these processes from zero and scaling them as the team and stakeholder needs begin to grow.

  • Liaison between clients, internal and external teams, and leadership stakeholders to document, prioritize, and manage execution of requirements and features.
  • Advocate for end users by sharing feedback, forming hypotheses, and proving them using analytics data.

Enterprises

Enterprises are their own special breed of project management challenge. They often involve extra stakeholders that can represent a vocal minority, challenging calendars that threaten to draw out project schedules, or archaic software that makes it difficult to be productive. I've overcome challenges like these while working on teams at Fortune 500 companies including UnitedHealthcare, Best Buy, and 3M.

  • Partner with disparate product teams to coordinate and build new features and services.
  • Facilitate implementation of digital products to new customers or lines of business.

Entrepreneurship

In addition to being available to hire myself to work with agencies and brands, I also own my own firm and lead a talented team of designers, developers, and more. I act as the account director, but my team handles the day-to-day work. Running my agency has helped me to understand and apply the business side of project management. As a result of our own direct clients, I've become better at building relationships, understanding the importance of the project budget, and finding great people to join excellent project teams.
